Armenian Apostolic Church has played a significant role in the history of Armenia, connecting Armenians and unifying them during dark times.
Armenia holds several titles of being “the first in the world”: the first church, oldest observatory, oldest winery dating back to 4100 BC, oldest shoe in the world and others. In the South of Armenia you will find the longest rope-way in the world too!
